Sennheiser partnered with Challenge Roth and worldclass triathlete

This past summer, the Sennheiser brand made waves at the biggest long-distance triathlon in the world, July’s Challenge Roth, held in Bavaria, Germany. Among the elite was Danish triathlete Magnus Ditlev, who not only entered as the reigning champion but also triumphed once again, securing his second consecutive win. Ditlev, an ambassador for the Sennheiser MOMENTUM Sport earbuds, further solidified his dominance in the sport.
Amidst major European sporting events like the UEFA Euro Cup, the Paris Olympics, and the Tour de France, Challenge Roth stood out as a significant event. Celebrating its 40th edition, Challenge Roth lived up to its reputation as a massive party, drawing huge crowds along the tracks. Sennheiser was present not only as a sponsor of the event but also as a supporter of the megastar Magnus Ditlev. The triathlon covered 3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling, and 42.2 km of running through Roth, a Bavarian village 25 km north of Nuremberg, making it a world-class festival for elite athletes and weekend warriors alike.
Paul Hughes, Sonova Consumer Hearing Director of PR, Influencers & Partnerships, expressed the brand's excitement: “Challenge Roth is a premier event in the triathlon world. We were thrilled to support athletes with pulse-pounding sound and innovative tracking data, helping them perform at their best.”
Race director Felix Walchshöfer added, “Having a tech leader like Sennheiser as a partner was a perfect fit for our event. Triathletes who love tech found these new training tools incredibly useful.”
Challenge Roth took place on July 7th, with Magnus Ditlev once again claiming victory.
