In October, we invited our Explorers Community to share their thoughts on new audio formats like 3D audio and surround sound. Over 300 Explorers took part, and their feedback delivered a clear message: while 3D audio shines in gaming and movies, authentic, truthful sound still matters most in music. In fact, 83% preferred faithful stereo reproduction over artificial 3D enhancement.
These insights didn’t stop at a survey. They’ve already been shared directly with our engineers and are helping shape the next generations of Sennheiser headphones.
